76 Credit CardPosted on February 13, 2010. Then a store or an agency credit card without permission? I wanted to buy a vacation package by phone, but my credit card was refused by the system. The transaction was void. After 2 weeks, I got loads and I have not received a package holiday. The credit law entitles me to claim from the credit card issuer, but not the body. I think that is theft, what is the federal law is with me? first apply to the vacation ownership business, then go directly to the credit card issuer, they deal with the merchant. Try calling a package holiday compnay first and let them know that you have been charged for something you did not receive. Generally, when you threaten something to take them as the Better Business Bureau or a lawyer, they will relent and credit your account. If this does not work, try taking them to the Federal Trade Commission, it is society that focuses on the fraudulent charges on credit cards by businesses. The travel agency will know that you have not received a travel package ... easily verified in their system. If they do not want to move clear with your card company charges just to get off, then the travel agency report to the BBB. Call your credit card company as a first step and request that the charges be reversed. Tell them that you have not received the goods / services that you have been billed.
