You can check all three credit reports every 12 months for free.
However, this does not include credit ratings, so if you want, you'll pay for them. The thing to remember though is that these notes are called credit scores Fako. They are essentially worthless as creditors do not use them in their decision on whether to extend credit to you or not. The ratings are only FICO scores matter.
However, you have to pay for them but there are discounts available. From time to time you can view them for free, but as far as I know it is not currently available.

so when he said credit card means that you can also use a debit card. Either get one of those prepaid Visa cards (it's like having a bank account without the bank) or simply open a bank account.
