How many credit cards air miles would it take to fly from Los Angeles to Japan? my friend said I could use his credit card air miles for a flight from Los Angeles to Osaka, Japan. It has about 74,000 points or miles, I'm not sure how it works. nobody knows if it will it get there?
Mileage is based entirely on the carrier. Carriers are likely to serve this route include United, American, JAL, All Nippon Airways, Northwest, and probably more.
First step: what kind of miles they have. Which airlines are they good with.
Step Two: Find the picture company award travel on their webpage.
Third step: Check the website of the airline award availability. Your friend may need to log into his account to do so. Alternatively, you can try calling. There are often free (up to $ 25) for booking by phone, but phone agents may be able to help by looking for alternative dates or ticket search provided on a "partner" of carriers.
One thing to note: if your friend does not really "miles", but rather points with a credit card is not affiliated with an airline - the paris open. These programs work completely differently, and the only way to know what are the requirements and availability are would be to call the credit card company.
