Axis Bank Credit Card

I use the axis bank credit card for almost 8 months that I pay my bill properly before the date, but they havent increased my credit limit up to now do I ask them to increase the limit credit or they increase their own after one year of use? Some tips for using credit card will also be helpful, Thanks
