Best 0 Interest Credit CardsPosted on March 17, 2010. It is one of the well known marketing tactics of credit cards to borrow money for Sr. Citizens. Halting the elderly to use credit cards is the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Banks that issue credit cards are not going under when a certain group of people can not pay their credit card in full. Firstly, banks could reduce their interest, or could reduce the interest of older people who have problems or the elderly could go bankrupt and clear the debt completely and start a new debt, or if banks do want to lend the elderly, "a lot" of money, at least give them a card, but with a limited amount of credit. But by taking credit cards from them is being very naughty and totally inappropriate. Maybe not 65-years ... but people over 85 should be protected more ... Not at all! Seniors are not all fools senile. Many are still vivid, bright, know exactly what they are good credit. Manage your money well. This is not a good idea. More than 65 does not mean you're senile and irresponsible. I doubt that many seniors are driven into debt against their will. They are not children and should be able to manage their own affairs.
