Can you apply for credit and get reported to credit agencies to businesses.

You do not need the manufacturer of corporate credit ($ 329) to build business credit with Dun & Bradstreet.

(Note: what I am referring here relates to building your business credit in just your company name or LLC without personal guarantee)

You can get a free copy from DUNS DNB. Using this free DUNS number, you can create a perfect score of 80 Paydex. A score Paydex is a bit like a FICO score, but for your company. Many companies will give you thousands of dollars in credit if you have a positive score Paydex.

So you want to get a free DUNS number, and then you can request a credit and may report to credit agencies to businesses. An important question is who are you with the application and if they report. Another important challenge is to approve your first set of grants companies credit. Almost all companies that wish to grant credits to see that you have some credit and were treated well, so you approve, but which leaves you with the problem of: Who will be the first to give you a credit if you are able to prove? More on that later.

I would not recommend that Dun & Bradstreet which you are applying for government grants or contracts, unless you really are, because you will need to register in the database of government (a long process) and if you do have not finished your DUNS number will become inactive.

What do you want to do is:
1. Go to Dun & Bradstreet http://www.dnb.com
2. Find the top navigation of the site - there are four navigation tabs - they are the following: Products; small business D & B DUNS Number; About D & B
3. Click on the navigation tab that says "D & B DUNS Number"
4. Locate the blue box in the center of the next screen that is titled: "Get Started, Get a DUNS
5. In this blue box, enter your business name, city and state and click the Next button
6. On the next page, locate the box in the lower right of the page that says "Get a DUNS Number Price: Free"
7. In this box, click the yellow "Get Started" button
8. On the next screen, start building your D & B DUNS Number by filling out your name, title, email address and company phone number - then click "Submit"
9. Continue filling the rest of your company's information, screen by screen until you are finished.

It will take about 45 days for you to receive your number, but do not wait. You must sign up for property outside (no D & B) credit building program, such as http://www.access-business-credit.com This is useful because the D & B products do direct and guide you step by step HOW credit.

You will need to get more accounts that the report of D & B. You do not need to wait for your number of D & B before you start applying - the information will still flow through your D & B record by matching your company name, phone number or the company and / or business address.

I work with people who every day get a free new profiles as described above. I often receive reports of D & B representatives calling people who requested free DUNS number and difficult to sell on payment for D & B credit builder DNB. Many people I spoke with had the wrong idea (after having the D & B sales representative pitch) they can not build credit unless you pay D & B. This is simply not true. Again, this is another good reason to enter a foreign (non-D & B) credit building program that can drag you what you need and not born.
