Is it worth it to buy miles? My Delta miles just expired and they let me buy them back at a penny per mile. For 30,000 miles, I'd pay $ 322. Is it still worth it? They say they will never expire after I buy them, as long as I travel with Delta once every two years.
I would not buy them. what would happen if they collapsed completely? I mean, the miles may never expire, but if the airline no longer exists, how would you use? Delta goes through many financial problems right now, is not it? In addition, there is the stipulation of having to travel with them once every two years. I think this is wrong.
If you are interested in the accumulation of air miles, try to get a credit card that earns you 1 mile for every $ 1 you spend on the card. I have a Citi card that earns me American Airlines miles, and it worked for me.
I say no because you obviously do not travel well or you probably would have cashed a free ticket long ago. Do not pay just to get miles. Not worth it.
Yes, many offer free flight tickets
