Card Credit Gas Secured

Posted on January 27, 2010.
Card Credit Gas SecuredHow long should I wait for a secured credit card?

I posted a question smiliar earlier, and I got great feedback! Thank you! Na I know you could not answer answers your question so here goes another ....

I just applied to my credit card last 2 weeks ago (it was my second ever asks first was back in August). I have no credit history (never had any loans, lines of credit in my name, nothing) and I'm trying to build. I was told to get a card store, gas cards, store a single card or a credit card guarantee. I thought this might be the easiest way to do the warranty card, even if I do not feel comfortable / cannot really afford to spend $ 500 - $ 1000 right now (im in the middle of movement) . However, since I asked the credit card take only 2 weeks ago and I still wait for the suggested amount of time (3 months) until I apply for a secured card?

or you think I am having a very good chance with a single card to Walmart? I actually use this card on a weekly basis compared to a Sears Card or something like that.

Capital One also announced on its website in the section to compare credit cards, a line of credit card "STORY LIMITED" applicants. Does anyone have the experience and knowledge with them? I have a good shot at one of these?

I just need to start building credit as soon as possible and I cannot really afford those darn "suggested waiting time" of 3 months between the two applications!

Thank you!

According to the company secured credit card you go with depends on whether or not you should wait to apply. Some companies will do a pull hard on your credit, even if it is a secured card. Others will not pull hard and is the type I would go with now if you can. So if you're looking for today, I would like to open a secured card. Probably a card like an orchard or applied, as they do not pull hard if my memory is good. I believe that everything they do is pull a "soft" to verify your identity. It's the same kind of pull is for promotional purposes "pre-approval" that come by mail. If you have decided to drop 500-1000 dollars for your secured card, I would open 2 cards instead secured with a limit 300-500 dollars each. Opening 1 and map will help you start building credit, but the FICO scoring system likes to see a mix of credit that includes at least 2 credit cards in progress. If you had to do, in 6 months or more, you should not have much trouble getting traditional credit cards are not covered. Once you do, you can close a warranty cards and get the money you have deposited back. In doing so, you would still keep 2 open revolving accounts (credit cards), but the length of your credit history will be a decrease in the short term, but not enough to worry ...

Regarding the store cards, they can help, but generally low. Walmart (if I remember correctly) is funded by GE Money Bank, and while they are quite lenient on the medium or bruised credit, they are not more likely to jump in opening a new account with someone one who has not demonstrated a performance or credit history. Having no credit in many cases, is somewhat worse than bad credit because you at least have some sort of barometer with bad credit. Maybe someone has bad credit because of some outstanding medical expenses, but they have never missed a payment on a credit account ever ... In this case, they have bad credit, but this is not a terrible credit risk.

Capital One is a good place to get a loan with limited credit. You hold a good chance of passing, if you opened a warranty card or two and called for their card in 6 months, but if you do not want to get a secured card, you can try. Remember each survey is hurt your score, and each "Next" lender regards you as "desperate CRE.
