Even if it is not selected, Chase still considers himself an active account.
You can contact Chase and ask them to convert the map Liberty map BP.
Chase Freedom (SM) Cash Visa (R) terms of reference card offer that 14.24 APR variable. But a look at the terms and conditions of this card and you will see there is much more that the APR figure. Let us analyze a little more.
April is synonymous with the annual rate. It is the interest rate on credit card companies charge on unpaid balances. The first thing to note is that the APR is available for three different pricings. The Elite, the Premium and Standard. The TAC range varies for these three awards. Chase Freedom (SM) Cash Visa (R) Card has a 0% fixed APR for the first 6 cycles of billing for the Elite and Premium prices. After this period April 0% intro APR is going to change to 14.24% variable for Elite and variable price for the 18.24% price premium. The main point to note here is the APR for the standard price. For this category there is no 0% introductory period in April and the rate is 23.24% APR variable from the date of account opening.
The credit card issuing company first considers the price with the lowest rates. According to a review of your credit report and other information of a person can get Chase Freedom (SM) Cash Visa (R) Map of the lowest rates or replacement rates. The credit card company if finds that a particular applicant is not suitable, he or she might not be allowed to open an account.
The second thing to note is that all these APR, except 0% Intro APR may vary. April means that a variable may vary over time. The variable APR is tied to prime rate. The "prime rate" is the highest base rate published in the money rate column of The Wall Street Journal two business days before the closing date of a statement for each billing period. Variable APR is based on the prime rate of 8.25% on 07/05/2006. The APR is a variable APR has added to that prime rate subject to certain minimum. Just do not activate it, simply cut and do not use it.
To make sure I call to check. Keep in mind some credit cards have an annual fee and you can be responsible for this fee once the account has been opened.
No, you have to call them. Even if you do not activate it. I had a card game as well. I never activated. It is still on my credit report showing the initial balance. Although the account is in good standing, I could never use it, years ago. I do not think you will find many more benefits to the BP card that you will not find with it. Spoil yourself and pay the card off in full every month. Do role on a scale, it's not worth coming up short later. Good luck to you.
Echo's answer is correct!
You have a line of credit with Chase already. The credit card they sent you is a method of using this credit line. To cancel it all together, you have to contact them by email or telephone.
Having said that, Chase should be able to convert your card to the BP card without much hassle. Think of it this way - the map of the freedom you have is now enrolled in a program based on your purchases - you give something. And conversion to the BP card is not usually something more than just change your program.
