Credit Card Approval Process

Posted on February 1, 2010.
Credit Card Approval ProcessWhat is the process of adding a person as an authorized user on an ACCT to improve their credit?

If you were to add one person to another credit card that is good in the ranking of measures to improve their credit rating, how does the process work? Do they have to go through the same approval process (credit approval, etc.) or do you have the authorized user simply ask that they be added to the account?

Everybody seems to be confused is the difference between an authorized user and licensee of a community card. Adding an authorized user will not affect their credit, either positively or negatively. It appears on their credit as a debt they can possibly use, but it does not affect the rating or an application for new debt. The risk is more important to you because since that person is an authorized user, they can run up your debt and not be financially responsible.

A cardholder owns 50% of the common liabilities of the card. It goes on their credit report, and can / will impact negatively or positively. In this case, there is usually some sort of application process - first, you add them as an authorized user, when they meet something and sign it, and then they are common. This process usually takes about a month according to the company.

You can add someone to your account when the company often provides for a person in good and due form. If you have someone who is an applicant for credit bad risk, already, they can make a check on the information provided by them and they can be denied or your credit card may be at risk. The best way for them to obtain their credit standing is better for them to stop spending and continue to pay at least the minimum amount due each month. No add on another credit card will improve their own credit and the person is adding a credit risk of their being damaged by the violent often times Spender. The account holder is responsible for all payments and fees that are added there.

their list as an authorized user of credit affects both parties. It will be listed as an A (authorized user) on their credit file. To your credit report, it will be listed as an individual account, however, for the other person may use some lenders that credit history, although only listed as an authorized user and some do Include ... but in the end, it effects both credit reports. How will you pay this card reflect on their relationships as well as yours. Just simply request an additional card with their name on it. Even children under 18 are able to be registered as authorized users ........

The cardholder is the one who has to add the AU.

Just call and tell them you want a person as an authorized user on your account. Have all information ready, such as full name (or first and last), address, SSN, etc.

Since the person is only being added for Improvment and not to actually use the card, you can request that no map of the AU will be sent. You can also request that their report on the people the credit reports.

Donj't They must go through all the approvals.
You could probably also add to your card online, but you may not be able to ask any card sent and to report.

Make sure to be precise, they are only AU and not be added as a partner.

amended to add
I agree with everything said smoovy (it should be much faster than me typing lol)

Adding a person as an authorized user on one of your accounts is a service for more convenience is a way to help someone build credit.

Authorized users have no responsibility for repayment, therefore, logically, they receive no credit. (N = no responsibility credit). Although the lender has a different credit scoring system, and some lenders may view an authorized user account in a positive, reality is not allowing 99% of the time. In f.
