Is there actually a way to get your credit report without giving credit card information and sign up for free trials??

Yes, you are legally entitled to one free credit report from all 3 major credit reporting companies (Experian, Equifax, TransUnion) Here's what I did: Go to www.annualcreditreport.com to find your public, then enter your information and you can get 3 free reports. You can even subscribe to get their mind next year when you are able to display your new annual report updated

You will not need to enter your cc information unless you also want your credit score, but it will give you the report that all the accounts you have open and what is their status, they are in collections or in good standing and you can see who has requested all the info from your credit. You will answer a few questions to verify that you are you really, it's easy and legally you are right.

Yes each of the offices of 3 credits have the option of completing their application form by mail in 2 pieces of ID and you will get your report within 10-14 days. Just check their websites.
