Then my wife earning WorldPerks miles if I buy her plane ticket on my credit card? I have a WorldPerks Visa Signature. We fly to Europe this fall and want to maximize our mileage. I double miles when using my WorldPerks Visa. Can I use my credit card to buy his ticket with WorldPerks number and still get credit for two flights on my account?
BA are the only airline I know of that allows the pooling of miles to an account when a family traveling together, for example. With NWA, like most airlines, miles stay with the passenger, regardless of who paid. So, she should check with his number WorldPerx, but if I understand your question, you should always get miles per dollar spent on this ticket (and she'll get miles for what she is actually moving) .
You get credit when purchasing a ticket with your Visa card, but each of you put on your own world benefits #. You can not get credit for the two flights in the way I think you expect. Sorry. You can transfer miles later, but it costs money and I heard it is not worth it.
I think you would get WorldPerks miles for the dollar amount spent ... but then you would each get your regular airline miles has been added to your own account as well. So yes, she double miles in the sense that you would get WorldPerks miles to pay with your credit card, but then you would also put in its number of frequent flyer miles and is credited to the FF as well.
