Easy Approval Low Interest Credit CardsPosted on January 6, 2010. Need to repay a debt of year 11, do I negotiate or pay the balance? I'm going to buy a house, and when I went on my credit reprt with my agent, we discovered that I had a debt of $ 2,500 in collections which should be supported to obtain final approval. It wasn't a surprise, because in the past, especially in my younger years I was irresponsible, but I thought I had taken care of my debts a few years ago. Anyway, I wasn't sure why, but what I discovered in 1997 I had a credit card that were not paid then charged off and out of sight of the spirit. Until another company has apparently taken responsibility for the debt, and its reopening. I am sure I didn't have that great of a line of credit, so I am sure that the interest is included in the total. I want to take care of her, and I am sure that the easiest way is to pay the total, but since its so old it would be worth trying to negotiate a lower payment, such as 1500 just to have supported or should I just pay the full balance? Thank you for the advice. The limitation period should make the debt load ... So technically if you had not made a payment in the eleven years he should be gone ... except for a student loan. The fact that this is not a concern. A credit card that you have breached 11 years ago are not on your credit reports. CommentsThere are no comments.Leave a Comment |
