Ecommerce Accept Credit Card

Posted on March 11, 2010.
Ecommerce Accept Credit CardI am developing an ecommerce site. My question is how can I accept credit cards?

A detailed response with some sample code will be appreciated.

Easiest is to join and use Paypal to receive payments from users (There are millions on Ebay)

I also wondered the same thing a while ago .. The best answers I could get were the following:
1. Get a VeriSign certificate http://www.verisign.com/online-payment-p ...

2. Subscribe to WorldPay, they will give you the code http://www.worldpay.com/sme/datasheet.ph ...

3. Get a PayPal merchant account (Again we give you the code) https: / / www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cm ...

The most important thing that you should consider is the safety of people, so if you do not have the necessary experience do not apply yourself .. All three options offer VeriSign, you know there is no path, the details will be stolen. Another thing. Verisign certificates are quite expensive, the cost of Worldpay transaction per month, then, If I were you, I would definitely go for the option of PayPal merchant account. It allows you to accept all major credit cards and PayPal payments. You can adjust the code and copy the look of your site. You are just redirected to paypal it needs to pay by PayPal.

The best and least expensive route is to set up a merchant account with a shopping cart feature. Most merchant account providers have a box program with Visa / MC / Amex / Disc accpet options.

You will be very limited in functionality with Paypal cart and length of time to get funds in your credit card company account. Merchant account providers for automatic deposit of your credit card sales on your business bank account within 48 hours.

The fees charged by providers of merchant account should be cheaper than PayPal.

there is no sample code for this dear. What you can do - first you can sign up with yahoo business for a merchant account. but quite expensive. Second use Paypal. It allows you to accept credit card payments through their site. when users click on the button buyer pays in your site, they are redirected to the PayPal site and pay there. they do not need to be registered with PayPal. or they can pay directly on your site. visit www.paypal.com.
3rd you can use any other commercial sites like Xoom online payment that you can also do. but you must register. Paypal is by far the cheapest. I use for my e-commerce site.

PayPal is the best option. Nothing to code or do, just sign up and implement with one of their icons.
