Fuel Saving DevicesAre there mechanisms for fuel economy that really work?

I see tons of advertisements on the Internet for gas saving / devices increasing mpg. Are there any devices that really work? Has anyone used a device that has increased their mpg?

Proper maintenance and tire make a big difference. Other items may make a marginal difference, but only if two conditions that I listed first are met. Seriously, under-inflated tires drop to about 5% of your fuel consumption.

Yes, its called walking.

They are all a scam, especially those who say "installs in five minutes" or "no change needed"

If you live in Canada, you can go to Canadian Tire, they sell a pill that you put in the gas tank. It gives the car a cleaner running fuel efficiency of the car is better. You get better gas mileage. In a way it cleans the carberator, lines and all other things will be clean. Besides all these things that your car works better.
The pills cost about $ 20 - $ 25 for about 18 tablets. you must have a half tank of gasoline or more before puttin the tablet, then drive to the gas station to fill - ER - up. You'll see better gas mileage. Sorry do not remember the name of the little blue pill.
It does not work. Good Luck
