Gas And Electricity

I'm moving home and the seller can not tell me who supplies gas and electricity. It's getting cold and I do not know who to call to get the gas lit. Can you help me?

Ask neighbors

Look in the telephone directory under Utilities, natural gas, electricity, etc. for a list of companies that manage that in your area.
Call them to determine if your address is in their service area.
If it's too much work, then you can ask a neighbor who they use.

The seller of your new home should let the provider know

Call National Grid. I had the same problem. Their number is on 0845 605 6677 gas and electricity 01926 65 3000. if thats not attempt any use Transco on 0800 111 999 for your gas

The estate agent might know, or the city itself - could be like here - a monopoly and you must take what is available, whether you like their service and prices or not ... attention
