Gas Barbequegas grill?

I got a gas grill, but there are no instructions with it. I can connect and get the flame going, but need to know what follows. Do I need special coal and once the coal is heated and then I keep the gas for cooking or can I turn the gas supply. please help

Buy standard bag of charcoal for barbecues. Light grill and preheat it by turning to high for five minutes, then lower the lowest position for cooking. Enjoy!

A gas grill does not use charcoal (I do not know what the poster is a reference to others). The largest lava rocks or ceramic tile that is heated by the burners and are primarily there to distribute the heat. The latest variants use metal caps - the kind Weber calls the "Flavorizer Bars." It does not matter, the goal is to do the same thing which is to spread the heat from the burners. You keep the burners all around the time the warm-up, cooking, and turn them off when finished cooking to cool. The thing with gas grill is to heat them nice and warm. I do what burns any residue left by the last time I used it and after I'm finished cooking, I once more heat to burn off food residue left on the grids. You will also ensure that the opening at the bottom has something to take cooking grease and carbon that fall.
