Guaranteed Credit Card

Guaranteed Credit CardWhere can I find a secured credit card for someone who is not in favor of credit?

Received my credit card when I was young and did not care for it properly. I lagged behind and consequently, have damaged my credit reputaiton. I'm older now and need to start rebuilding my credit. Where can I find a secured credit card for someone who has no credit so favorable?

There is the so-called "guaranteed credit cards" there, but one thing to keep in mind is that there is always a catch. The catch with these cards is that they are burdened with so many different fees (processing fees, participation fees, etc.) using all available credit before you receive the card. If you have money wasted in fees to obtain these cards, go ahead, but if you're going to have to put up costs money, you might as well open a secured credit card. At least with a warranty card, regardless of your deposit is your credit line, the more you deposit more than your credit line. In addition, the deposit is sometimes linked to a savings acount that can earn interest while you are building credit. Usually after one year to pay on time, you get the deposit back, and updates a regular card.

I have posted below some links that I belive that will help you. Bank of America is the best overall warranty card, in my opinion

Good luck!

Having bad credit is not necessarily the end of the world. Although many funding options are closed for you, there are still options available. A credit card is one of these options. Here are 4 ways to get a credit card while having bad credit:

1) Application of credit to a smaller shop or boutique retail. They usually do not require significant credit history or credit rating is very high. If you are accepted, make occasional small purchases while giving at least the minimum payment each month on time. This can increase your credit score long term.

2) Ask a friend or relative to co-sign for you. Make sure you find someone with good credit or your efforts will be futile. If you are a late payment, default on the loan will also display the other party, so be careful when you use this option.

3) Apply the same bank that you have a checking or savings account. A bank that has your company may be more willing to grant you credit regardless of your history. As an added bonus, often the application process can be easier and faster that way.

4) If all else fails, an application for secured credit card. This option requires that you have a savings account as collateral, and your credit limit will reflect a percentage of the amount of your savings. This may be a good option for someone looking to increase their credit score over a long period of time.

There are several of them on this site http://creditorlink.com/cards/bad-credit ...

Good luck and always manage your debt wisely!

There is a distinction between a secured card guaranteed approval and the approval guaranteed unsecured card. This is likely to require higher interest rates and fees. That's why you have to spend more to build your credit.
Credit cards have always guaranteed approval, you make a deposit before the bank issues a credit card for you. Many people think they use the money they istalled the credit - this is not true. Your guarantee secures the credit - is a guarantee that you will pay back the loan. The bank can take only guarantee if you do not pay your debts.
I recommend a warranty card as a more secure and less expensive to build your credit.
