How do I install a gas propane conversion kit on a gas range oven? Ive already bought the conversion kit, but the pieces do resemble their place in one of the accessories
I thought I just answered this -
Your package of five "baskets". These are pieces of brass 1 / 2 "long with a hex on one end and a small hole in the other.
The new holes will be small, then your existing because the dry gas has a higher heating value while using less space.
Get a little dope.
Remove burner and the hood is where the tube ends of the burner. Using a 1 / 2 "wrench remove the four valve caps your top. Put some pipe dope on the threads and replace with your new hood.
Do the same with your oven.
Note that most beaches are "universal" and you may not need a kit. Unscrew and remove a cover as shown above. If there is a small brass pin from the center of the faucet to see if it has a small hole in it. If so all you have to do is turn your hoods and squeeze about a 1 / 2 rotations and you're converted.
