Medical Credit CardPosted on March 11, 2010. Is there such a thing as a medical credit card - to be used for medical expenses? I am a surgery in a few weeks and need a credit card to cover the costs of surgery my insurance will not. It seems I heard something about a medical credit card recently ... Yes, but it does not apply in your case. As noted above, there are 2 different cards. Yes, Citi Bank, Citi has a known health. It's like a regular credit card, but it allows you a full year to repay, without interest. It can be used for veterinary bills or even personal (that's what I used on mine). I would also check with the hospital to see if they offer all financing options ... Good luck! Why would you do that? How is it different from simply obtaining a credit card that you use only for medical expenses? This is called Care Credit. I hope you have good credit or you will not get approved.
