Mobil Gas Stations LocationsPosted on February 7, 2010. Why gas co. have such a range of prices for the octane of the fuel itself - the only diff. is the location? I've seen gas stations with a price difference of 42 cents within 30 miles. How can they get away with that? They would never sell without making a profit, so obviously the only gas station is selling a gallon of gas for a profit at least 43 percent. Assuming the other station is only a profit penny. And they were both so it is Mobil stations in the same company as the prices differ so much! And it was the same octane fuel. Is not this called price gouging? because they will pull every chance they get. Location, location, location The gas is priced by location and zoning. If you live in a rich region, it will be more expensive. If you live in a ghetto, it will be a few cents cheaper. CommentsThere are no comments.Leave a Comment |
