Offshore Oil Rig Jobs

My husband wants to work offshore on an oil well because he says it is well paid. We live in Houston, Texas, where he can go to apply and you need experience? It is a hard worker and he has always worked outside so he is accustomed to working in heat, rain, cold.

For those of you who are working on an oil rig how do you actually make a year?

I guess the first step is to apply via online for big oil companies in your area. (Exxon, Conoco, etc.)
