Hi, I live in New York and has just returned from 6 years of living abroad. There seems to be a lof of buzz around Canadian Oil job. I am interested to know ow I could find a job working there. I see so many pay for the websites that say they can help you but I am always wary of these sites. Can anyone provide me with direct information on obtaining jobs oil sands in Canada?

Do not pay someone to find you a job, it's a scam

Oil jobs are harder to find for the most part, it sort of depends on who you know - who knows someones brother who knows this guy - they arent always announced.

People working in the oil fields during the winter months, they work during the summer because the soil becomes too soft - you have to find the names of companies drilling, and then click Search all sites to get there where jobs are actually advertised.

There are many different jobs in the oil sector, are you qualified? Looking?

You need a work visa, I suggest you do about it now, it may take some time
