Pioneer Military LoansPosted on January 27, 2010. Are there any reputable companies that offer personal loans for veterans? My husband was looking for a personal loan (to pay off some bad debt quickly before it ruins his score), but we can not find someone who specializes in military veterans to loans personal. I know that Pioneer Military Loans offers loans good, but they are for active duty or career retired and my husband did not retire (he instead was honorably discharged after 6 years service). We live in Washington state, if you know of here. USAA does banking for veterans. They also offer insurance and many other services. Got 2 car loans by USAA. They are still very strict give loans though. You still have a decent credit and steady income. Getting an unsecured loan to pay the debts of others is almost impossible. If you have collateral (like a car paid off or paid off a house), you should be able to get help from a bank or credit union. Or if someone in a strong financial position with great credit will agree to co-sign that you may be able to do something. Hello I do not think you will find lenders willing to lend only because of veteran status. You still need to qualify for the loan. Try a local credit union. He is eligible for military members.
