Poor Credit Rating CardsThe credit card companies sending credit card offers mailed to people with bad credit?

Hello
I've just done a credit check and IM waiting to receive a response. but out of curiosity I was wondering how my credit score really is. I received offers from credit card in the mail from reputable companies to 2.5%
would they send it to me if I had bad credit, or did they just send everyone on their mailing list
Thank you for your hope ..

Please no comments on Alex Smart people with bad credit, it is not funny or useful

Sure, you get them, but if you think you'll get an American Express or one of the most awaited dream about you also get a refusal, when they do a credit check.

Hi Hun!
Yes, unfortunately, these companies do not send them to everyone, or at least most people. Some companies will send you a "letter of guarantee products" if you had an account with them for a while and they know that your credit rating is very good. For example, if you have a bank account with the Halifax for a few years, the wages to be credited, never exposed or kept within limits if you have an overdraft, lived at the same address for 3 years and over, etc. They have a pretty good view of your credit history. It is possible that they will credit you scored before sending a letter of guaranteed products, hence their confidence in you offer.
If you get a bog standard offer of a business and apply for the product, then they will credit you score and if your credit is bad, they decline the offer. Daft, I know, but do not assume that because you have received an application which will be offered the product.
Hope this helps.

Years ago when I was bankrupt, broke and not working, the mail would be full of "you're pre-approved" offer - boredom is that almost every time I answered them, I 'I was refused. I think the only thing "Pre Approved" on things is that you're pre-approved for mailbox full of credit card spam. lmao

Not sure of credit score and credit reports in the United Kingdom, but the U.S. is the law that the credit rating companies to give us a free credit report per year to tell us our credit rating " "more if we are denied a credit card or account application rotates, the company shall send a report indicating the reasons why - if for any reason, you must apply in writing and wait months to get an answer.

corporate credit card purchase a list of potential customers credit card with a credit rating above the minimum (just the score, they do not check the report). If you read the fine print on these offers, you say what you want to know. It will verbiage such as "rates as low as 2.5%, or credit limit for" $ 5,000 ". The reality is they do not check your credit until you apply. They n have no idea of your ability to repay the loan. You may find yourself with a credit limit of $ 300 and an interest rate of 29% when they actually look at your request. Some of these cards is very high and maintenance costs. The link below is one example of how it can be bad. Discover Card's first prime minister.

Tom is right on the spot. If you performed a credit check, how it is? The score is only a part. Do you have accounts in collections? Not so long ago, a friend of mine apply for a card with Citibank AAdvantage miles. His credit score is 765, they refused. It does not have accounts in collections and his credit is regular, but he paid in arrears in the past and canceled the account ... So in short, everything depends on what company you receive the offer. Right now credit is tight, but th.
