Rspca Credit CardPosted on January 9, 2010. RSPCA - What do you think? This is not really a question if I was interested in your opinion. "" "" The RSPCA is a farce behind the welfare of animals when the truth is they have their own agenda, which has little to do with animals provide the best care in the earliest oppertunity ."""""" I can really sympathize. I have a Doberman that has a plethora of problems, which proved difficult and costly to diagnose and treat. Me had taken to the vet many times and spent so much money that I could afford, but we could never seem to get to the root of the problem (skin problems), the veterinarian was a waste money, so I decided to treat myself symptoms, with some degree of success, she has a dog happy and healthy, so I did the best I can. Well, I had a visit from the local RSPCA, following a complaint about how THIN My dog was not his skin (it isn't thin for Dobe), and they basically told me I had need to take my dog to the vet this afternoon, or they would be back the next day to take my dog. I explained that money was tight, had no money that day to pay for a vet visit, he said 'thats ok, I'll call ahead and let them know that RSPCA cover some costs, but you must pay the rest. " Well I got there, they have tests, which have all been done before, has confirmed what I had already told the RSPCA officer, then prescribed exactly the same treatment we had tried before without success, mind you quite expensive, and told me to keep doing what I had done all along. Then came time to pay the bill. Well, apparently I had to pay in full, and then I have to ask the RSPCA for Reimbursement, and they pay me $ 50, from a bill of $ 750AU. Fortunately, the vet took pity on me and allowed me to pay the bill, but I was so furious against the RSPCA. I called the next day to complain and all they said was "we apologize for any" misunderstanding ", but your statement wasn't dogs considered" urgent, "we can not offer financial support. But we can not give you the refund, we just need copies of the report and veterinarian bills, and once it clears with management, we will send you a check to the vet. It seems that the RSPCA just wanted a basic check of the health of dogs, but not treatment, then they did not know, or I put the dog, presumably to euthanasia. hey ridiculous. Incidentally, at the time, I was a single mother with 2 children and surviving on my part-time salary, yes I know, I could not really afford to have my dog, but when I him, I could easily afford to keep her and her problems started in place, Division I, my husband and I have always been bought to be a responsible pet owner, so that its delivery.
