Nobody recalls the database started so people can provide loans to small businesses in developing countries? I saw on TV a year or two earlier. If I am not mistaken, the creator has been nominated for the Nobel Prize. It was launched with all those who had a little money to invest, could provide small loans to people in developing countries to create their own businesses. Then the loans were repaid with interest and satisfaction of helping to develop the economy of a small country. I think the preliminary results have been positive, because people have to pay as it should. Does anyone have information on it or a link?
It was Mohammed Younus, the economist who put the word "microcredit" on the map with the Grameen Bank in his native Bangladesh.
