What credit card approve no credit student? I am a student, I thought to get a student credit card. However, no credit, I was refused by two of them before now. What are the student cards are there that I can not get credit?? If anyone of you, let me know
a prepaid card or a warranty card is what you get.
I agree with previous posters. First, make sure your credit report is free deliquencies despite the fact that you have no credit.
I got my first credit card (unsecured) my first year in 2005. However, there was a time different economic agents. My sister is a sophomore and had the same problem exactly like you. I ended up helping her get a secured card with Orchard Bank. They have the lowest cost structure there to secure the cards.
Try this:
1) Do not apply to ordinary credit cards. You have no credit history or income to support an approval.
2) Ask a student card or Citi Chase. They are freedom and Chase 1 student credit cards Citi mtvU.
3) Apply Capital One Platimum for young adults / limited credit history
4) Get a card from Orchard Bank secured credit
I think the climate is much more difficult there because I was refused to get the cards, I know that I received years.
Student life is difficult.
I understand most people want a credit card because they want to spend money they do not.
I hope that in your case you're wanting one for reasons of convenience and will pay per month.
If this is the case, I suppose you have a little money, just not a credit history.
Try to start with a prepaid card Capital One card. This way, you can learn to be responsible with your card first because it's always your money than you spend. You develop habits of responsibility and maintain a minimum balance of $ 200 at the end of each month for 6 months (spending and recovery). This story will save you and then credit and credibility with creditors. You may then be able to request a higher limit, or they may even offer it as a pleasant surprise.
My advice is, however tight budget as a student. There is nothing worse than leaving school with a debt so large that it takes you years to repay this debt, making it difficult to afford to live in decent housing.
Hope this helps,
Do you have a job or income while going to school? This could be the stumbling block, if you encounter problems.
Have you tried Capital One? Perform a search for their students / no credit or limited credit card and see if you agree. Be aware, if you are approved, the limit will be about $ 300.
Have you tried findcollegecards? I did not credit a few years ago, and has been approved by Citi Bank. I would try transporters card at least 3 different. Capital One, Citi, and Discover.
If you are having a difficult time, you can try a secured credit card.
Good luck!
Really? I applied for my first credit card, like six months ago and I was instantly approved for a credit line large. I had no credit history at all.
Try CitiBank
In this climate, it will be very difficult to get a free credit history.
