Worldpoints Gift Card

I have a Visa gift card marked "WorldPoints I would use for a purchase online, but I guess I have to first register (if not my address, etc. can not be verified when I try to order anything ). I have not received any paperwork with the card. The back says the card was issued by "BANKFIRST" but there is no website listed on the card, just an 800 number. I try the number tomorrow, if necessary, but should not there be a way to register online for this thing and avoid the hassle?

You do not sign up gift cards. You can not add to them, that their escape. I have not used any of them, but I used to sell them at Macy's. Since they do not relate to an account as such, there is no need to save.

There is no address associated with that account, because there is no account.

Am I making sense?
